Meet your guide and car and surface transfer to Kohima. En-route, stop for tea and Visit vegetable markets, where you shall see local vendors selling their locally, produced fruits and vegetables. Reach Kohima and check in to your hotel and Evening at leisure.
Morning after breakfast we shall begin our affair by visiting Local Market, WWII Cemetery and Cathedral. After accomplishing a brief Kohima city tour, drive to Kisama to spend rest of the day at Hornbill Festival. Visit the Morungs where you, can witness all the 16 tribes of Nagas and other neighbouring states in their best traditional attire, gearing up for the festival. Be amused by the performances of various tribes depicting their culture and traditions through their presentations.
Return to Kohima for overnight stay, after a day well spend.
Morning after breakfast, explore nearby villages, Phesama and Kigwema. Acquaint yourself with the culture and tradition of Traditional Angami village. Later, drive to Kisama for more of Hornbill Festival. Witness more of cultural activities, visit the Bamboo Pavillion, Museum and other various stalls at the venue and experience some local cuisines of Nagas. Back to Kohima for overnight stay.
Today we shall have a detailed tour of Khonoma “The First green Village in the Country”. On reaching Khonoma, start exploring the village by visiting Morungs, traditional gates, Forts, and local people as you unearth the traditions and cultural lifestyle of the local people. We shall witness and participate in some local crafts, Indigenous games. Enjoy a Picnic lunch at the buffer zone of Community Sanctuary
OR Terrace field. Evening drive back to Kohima for overnight stay.
Morning after breakfast we shall drive to Dimapur to connect your flight for your onward journey.
